Based on the Isle of Man, SimJoh Productions offer an end-to-end solution; from capture to edit to distribution media. With several years experience in the UK media sector we can provide professional values and standards to our clients.

Filming

From initial concept through screenplay to storyboarding and shotlists, pre-production is vital and will be as detailed as possible, ensuring that when shooting starts it goes smoothly, on time and within budget.

SimJoh Productions are shot on large sensor High Definition cameras, and lighting and sound are configured independanty for optimal results. All audio is captured seperately at high quality (24bit/96khz) via Sennheiser or RØDE mics and synched in editing.

 

Editing

SimJoh Productions use powerful non-linear editing software to buff the footage to a highly polished state, including any edits, transitions and subtitles. We are of course happy to take on work not filmed by us!

 

Effects

Whatever your special effects needs may be, we have it covered. 3d CGI, multi-layer compositing, chroma-keying, colour grading, motion tracking, atmospherics, lighting effects, soundscaping - if you can imagine it, we can probably do it! 4k (Alexa, RED) 'RAW' work undertaken.

 

Once the edit is complete and previewed by the client, we proceed to final stage:

Distribution

The final stage involves opening title and end credit sequences, soundtrack design, and final distribution authoring up to Digital Cinema Package, HD 1080p on Blu-Ray, or any lower resolution as required (ie DVD, web etc).
